I attended my friend's wedding at the Casa in April 2019 and believe it is the most gorgeous venue I've ever seen for a wedding. It's elegant and classy, and the Spanish-style home and lush gardens, in addition to the palm trees and majestic mountain view, made for a spectacular setting and experience. In addition, the tables and lighting in the garden for the reception were so beautiful. Truly memorable. Thank you.

Joe is the host with the most! He was welcoming, considerate and polite at all times. The grounds are immaculate with high-quality furnishings in both the common areas and rooms. We loved our morning coffee at the outdoor bar with fresh grapefruit and blood oranges picked fresh. The poolside cocktails with freshly picked lemons weren't bad either. Its old Spanish architecture impeccably maintained. Quiet and isolated but a quick walk to town. We will def be back!

We stayed 4 nights for a conference we were attending in town. The location is so convenient and yet is tucked away and very private. Very clean, very relaxing and beautifully decorated. The outdoor gardens/courtyards are a treasure in themselves. Incredible history! Joe, our host, was wonderful.

We stayed at Casa de Monte Vista for three nights in October, 2018 and can't recommend it highly enough. I hesitate to write this review for fear that it won't be available the next time we are looking -- but honestly, the Casa is stunningly beautiful, and feels like an oasis. It was also fun to place ourselves in a house that is so closely entwined with the history of Palm Springs. Great location, gorgeous place, extremely comfortable, and Joe is a joy to interact with. We will be back for certain.

We've been to Casa de Monte Vista a few times for weddings. I absolutely love this place! It's such a beautiful venue to get married! Joe the owner is extremely nice! Can't wait to work at this place next time!

The gate to the driveway slid back and the lush tropical paradise was exposed. It was beyond our imaginations. We had several family members there already and when I met Liz I thought she was another part of the family I had not yet met. So warm and friendly. She took us on the grand tour of the premises as we 'gasped' and 'awed' our way around. We were granted the largest of the accommodations and I couldn't stop wondering what we had done to deserve this!? The following morning we were the first to awake and spent nearly two hours talking with Joe (host/owner) as he took us around and told us the history and stories over the many years. We had a most memorable garden party dinner that evening. It was such a perfect venue for our surprise birthday celebration and the meal was superb! The following morning was another brunch celebration around the bar/bistro area and the day was spent lounging, laughing and enjoying the pool and grounds. Every day I found another fun area I had not yet encountered. A massage area on the only second level was intimate and relaxing. NEVER ENDING pleasure. Joe was the highlight of the venue!!

I stayed at Casa de Monte Vista 2 years ago with a friend. We were instantly amazed by the beauty of the grounds. I would highly recommend this Casa to anyone. The hospitality is over the top. We had the most wonderful time and it was a large part due to Joe and Casa de Monte Vista in Palm Springs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hospitality of the owner. The property is elegant while also being comfortable. It was the highlight of our trip to Southerm California.

My wife and I have wanted to visit to Palm springs for a long time, and we finally got the chance this year. We started searching for a place to stay online and found Casa de Monte Vista. From the pictures it looked very cute and charming. When we arrived a huge gate rolled open and we drove in with a warm greeting from Liz who helped us unload our luggage and show us our room followed by a quick tour of the grounds. It was beyond beautiful and way better than the pictures. About 20 minutes later we met Joe and he invited us to share one of their signature cocktails made from only fruits grown on the property at their private bar, the drink was amazing and we had the best time laughing and sharing stories with Joe and Liz, we felt like we instantly had some new friends. Joe, and the property are like a glimpse into the past of old Hollywood, rich with character and good vibes. The whole experience was inspiring and relaxing and we will definitely be back again.

I helped to organize a corporate dinner/reception event for our top clients on Monday May 23rd, 2016. Our guests were primarily Fortune 500 executives and plenty of attorneys - so folks used to getting spoiled. To a person, they were all really impressed with the venue and had a fantastic time. From the outset Joe was simply outstanding. He was attentive, responsive, and extremely invested in making our event a success. We didnt bother with much extra lighting or sound as the place is so well equipped already. The grounds are large, with plenty of "secret spots/hidden gems", the view of the mountains in the late afternoon/evening was gorgeous, and the back garden/pool area ended up drawing the biggest crowds. Quite simply a wonderful venue, excellent host, and highly recommended. Thanks, Joe - for a truly wonderful night. We will be back for sure.

It is not often that a brief meeting leave you with such a great feeling.

What a great place with top notch hospitality. Spent the weekend with a group of friends for a bachelor weekend and loved every minute. The grounds are gorgeous, like a little oasis. The on-site manager, Joe, was great and made sure that we had everything we needed, even calling a masseuse to come on-site. Fantastic!!

I surprised my wife with a trip to Palm Springs and Casa de Monte Vista - which came highly recommended by friends who had stayed there. The surprise was a great success - the moment we walked through the front gate we were greeted with the gentle sounds of a trickling water fountain surrounded by a lush and peaceful garden area - which extends to all of the residence grounds. We were hooked. But what also made the experience unique was Joe, who is a tremendous host. He has a passion for creating an environment at Casa de Monte Vista that is comfortable, warm and inviting. A beautiful place, and a quiet retreat! We always appreciate our time there and Joes' kindness. We have now come back a second time, and hope for many more stays.

This place is every bit as beautiful as the photos and then some. Joe has done such a wonderful job with all the landscaping and private little nooks and crannies to relax in all over the property. He and Tammy were such wonderful hosts, we wanted for absolutely nothing our whole trip as they were always right there to make sure we had everything we needed. I will absolutely be coming back here!

due to some very good news regarding our family we weren't able to come to this years' Modrnismweek. We do really miss you, your great property (we'll never forget our beautiful wedding in your garden or the nice evenings with wine and snacks we spent at your bar and around the pool). As we already know that we'll definatly come back to you later this year fot the moment we've written a short article for all the Modernistas out there of how to spend a perfect day/weekend in Palm Springs.

My girlfriend and I showed up as part of the 5 Star Adventure Tours. We arrived fashionably late and were greeted at the front door by a friendly handsome man named Joe. Well, the treat had just begun. We were given a personal tour.....I smoke.....and entertained in the finest manner. The property is spectacular but the real ambiance has been created by its owner. We loved every minute and I can't wait to visit again!

What a wonderful weekend!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Joe made us feel right at home from the very start. We had access to everything we needed, including bikes for a fun ride, the pool and jacuzzi, big screen to watch the game, fireplace, amazing casitas, a fully stocked kitchen, and a masseuse for massages! We were close to downtown, but felt totally .secluded in our own little Paradise!!!

Our stay at Casa de Monte Vista was spectacular! The wonderful proprietor, Joe, and his support staff, Jody, couldn't have been more accommodating or generous. Each casita was beautifully prepared for our arrival and the grounds, pool, and general ambiance was absolutely wonderful.

There were 11 of us from our family, ranging in age from 3 years old to 72. We also had 3 teenagers with us and everyone had a fabulous time.

Joe and Jody turned the pool temperature up, the weather being quite cold while we were there, so we were able to enjoy swimming, badminton, wonderful music on his Spotify system, as the children and the grandchildren had fun both on the property and in Palm Springs. There were bicycles for all of us and the location was wonderful with nearby restaurants, shopping, and the beautiful mountains.

We had a wonderful time and we highly recommend Casa de Monte Vista to any family or anyone at all.

Needed two rooms for a romantic couples getaway ... and Joe (the owner and my new friend) delivered! Walking distance to shops and restaurants, super relaxing pool and spa just steps away, and amazing hospitality. We can't say enough good things. Book your room now!

Spent a weekend across country in Palm springs for a wedding at this venue. It is a beautiful property, unique, exclusive, quiet, with such a quaint, yet majestic feel. Tucked right beneath the mountains, this venue is perfect for private events. The owner is very welcoming and pays attention to your needs. I highly recommend this beautiful property.
